
New high-tech training facilities have been opened at the Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC), Taylor’s Lane, Dublin 8 by Dublin Business Innovation Centre in association with Hewlett Packard. Equipped with HP technology, the facilities are available for use by external companies, and feature HP Micro Entrepreneurs Acceleration Programme (HP MAP) that assists owner/managers of start-up and micro businesses to rapidly acquire the knowledge and skills to fast-track the development of their businesses, using IT equipment. |

"These new facilities are part of a European wide programme developed by Business Innovation Centres and supported by Hewlett Packard in support of the European Union’s micro entrepreneur support system,” comments John McInerney, Project Manager DBIC and Manager, Guinness Enterprise Centre. “These facilities will provide entrepreneurs both inside and outside the GEC with the very latest in business skills acquisition.” A similar facility has been opened in Galway by WestBIC. |

The GEC Training facility is located in Unit 13 and is divided into two training rooms.
